A community litter pick has been arranged for Sunday 25th April at 10.00am – meet up at the school / entrance to Moors Meadow.
This is an excellent way to help keep our parish tidy and reduce the impact of litter on our local environment and wildlife as well as ensure that our part of the Wye Valley continues to show off its outstanding natural beauty.
All volunteers will be welcome, bags and kit will be provided but please ensure you wear (your own) gloves and feel free to bring along anything that will assist the task.
The parish council has considered the practicalities of holding this event with regard to Covid. As people will be outdoors, will generally be covering a designated area, and there is a necessity to spread out in order to work effectively, the parish council is confident that social distancing can be accommodated. Hand sanitizer will also be provided. Please continue to be aware of the need to distance from those outside of your household and keep yourself and your community safe.
Great idea. See you there!
