Emergency traffic light signals have been installed today (12 February 2025) along the B4234 from New House Farm to Combe Lodge, Walford (Between Walford Timber and Kerne Lodge)
Carriageway deterioration has occurred on the B4234. An initial investigation took place last week which has identified failures within the sub-base beneath the tarmac. Two-way traffic signals will be installed for the safety of the public whilst further investigative works are undertaken and will cover the 150-meter stretch.
As it stands, we won’t be able to give you the duration of the works until further notice.
