It has been brought to the attention of the parish council, that there is still a need for volunteers to assist at various Covid vaccination clinics serving the local area.
Clinical staff in vaccination centres at Pendeen, Alton Street and Much Birch GP surgeries, plus the Larruperz Centre, rely on much needed volunteers to help roll out the vaccination programme. Volunteer duties include car parking attendants and door marshals – no previous experience is necessary and clear instructions are given on site.
More volunteers are urgently needed – the number of clinics is increasing to provide first vaccinations for younger age groups plus second vaccinations for everyone. Clinics are likely to carry on until July.
