This information has been provided to the Parish Council by Balfour Beatty Living Places – a map showing the section to be subject to the closure and the diversion route can be accessed using the link below the text.
Dear Resident/Occupier,
We need to inform you about roadworks on B4234 New House Farm to Combe Lodge, Kerne. We will be repairing the carriageway failures.
Works will take place under a road closure from 23 June to (and including) 27 June. The road will be closed between 8:00 and 16:00 each day with traffic signals remaining in place overnight for duration of works.
The signed diversion route will be via B4229 Goodrich/ A40 Overross/ B4234 Ross on Wye to Walford and vice versa.
We will make every effort to provide vehicular access to properties within the road closure, but there may be times when it is not possible or there are delays. Help and guidance can be obtained from the dedicated marshals on site.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you. At Balfour Beatty we work in partnership with Herefordshire Council to minimise the impact of our work and aim to keep disruptions to a minimum – we appreciate your patience.
The work schedule may change due to circumstances, like as severe weather. Changes may occur at short notice without further notification. All changes will be shown on advance warning signs at the roadworks site.
